Disclaimer: This is gonna be a long, very very long post :)
On the 22nd October I was reunited with my crazy beautiful family again for the first time in two months. I feel like I should explain a few things before I start these new few couple of posts I feel I should clarify a few things. I am part of a very big family, I am the youngest of five children and there are no people in this world that I love more than my family. There are absolutely no people who come before them and for me, not being near them for two months is super hard. So, you can imagine my excitement when they booked their flights and hotel and came out to spend the week with me. I was so excited to see them, but there are certain parts of our week together that I want to keep as just our memories and therefore they won't be shared. But you can expect a healthy amount of pictures of good food and beautiful memories!
They flew over from the UK and landed around 5 after an hour delay, and I was eventually reunited with them at around 8pm! However, as all of them were super tired we decided to all crash, get an early night and make full use of the following day.
On the 23rd October (Thursday) I decided I really wanted to show them certain areas. First of all I wanted to show them downtown Long Beach, I felt this was a really good idea so they can see where it is I live :)

After wondering around the lighthouse for a while we decided to go to Huntington Beach to grab some lunch and to chill on the beach, that and I adore the shopping part in Huntington.
When arriving, we saw Dukes, a little restaurant right on the sea front with an Hawaiian theme so we decided to give it a go, and i can 100% vouch for it, super good food and a beautiful restaurant. I felt like I was in Hawaii.
I had a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries, 10/10 on deliciousness oh my lordy.
We also grabbed a couple of mocktails, they were so delicious :) here's a picture of me and my sister :)
For some reason I decided to take literally no photos at all of us chilling on the beach! But this was our Huntington day.
It was good to have a chill out and catch up just by the beach :)
