So, as a film student, i've witnessed countless times American 'house parties' where they all have red cups, beer pong, dance and socialise. I can quite happily say, this was EXACTLY the case.
It was my friend Matt's 'welcome to our house' flat warming party in one of the local apartment complex's so as a group we decided to go along and check it out, not being entirely sure what the dress code really is for an 'American house party'. So, here's a couple of pictures of us just before we went to the party!
Above are the usual peoples ;) We all kind of opted for the casual look thanks to the advice of our local San Franian aka Nea.
We were also told to bring a contribution to the party in the form of soda, snacks, anything like that, so i opted for a huge bottle of Orange Soda, because who doesn't love Orange Soda. Whilst in the supermarket, we found this little creepy skeleton thing and my pals all decided we shared a similarity..
No idea what they were talking about. (I personally think it looks more like my new Brother-In-Law DAN)
When we finally reached the party, as I said, it was exactly, and I mean exactly, how they say on the films.
However, for me, drinking was not an option as I'm under the Californian Legal Age of 21. Nevertheless, the orange soda was rather delicious :')
Unfortunately after about an hour and a half at the party, it quickly got shut down by 'the cops' for being too noisy. You heard me correct, at least 4 LA police officers were outside Matt's flat shutting the party down, just like the movies!
