Okay, so, when I was around 14 I grew a mild obsession with MTV. Anything it aired that was set in California i became unhealthily obsessed with and wished desperately that I would one day be able to visit. So, if any of you have ever watched Laguna Beach, you would understand my excitement when I was told I only lived maximum hour bus journey from there and it would only cost me $2 to get there!
So, I rallied up a couple of the pals (Becca, Anne and Al) and convinced them to come with me to check it out, and although at first I was slightly confused as to why it was NOTHING like the program, I quickly fell in love, as the whole town is so unique and pretty I just loved it so much.
We spent the beginning of the day on the beach and decided to go for a swim and muck around there for a while, literally you could see palm trees everywhere as it was just how I always pictured Laguna!
The whole beach was beautiful and I would definitely recommend as well as visit again!
We then decided to go explore around the town, where the girls got distracted by a chocolate factory.
In this chocolate shop they sold a variety of delicious things, from chocolate fudge, smores and toffee apples. All of which everyone but me decided to buy as I was certain i'd buy a cheeky ice cream somewhere else in the town!
As you can see, it wasn't the cheapest of places to buy a toffee apple but as Anne informed me, it was pretty good.
Further along the town, I thought i'd found my perfect ice cream parlour, only to find it was $7 for one scoop or something along them lines. Crazy expensive so decided against it, but did get a cheeky snap of the sign outside of it which I was super tempted to steal!
