As a group, we've all agreed our aim is to do something EVERY saturday, even if it's just going to the beach. So one friday evening, stuck with the struggle of what to do the following day, Alastair, Becca and I decided we would check out our local aquariums website, after being told it was huge and had great reviews.
We mutually decided to give it a go, so decided to visit it, and i can happily say I was not disappointed. Although quite pricey (around $27) it was very good and I would definitely recommend for those who hadn't gone before!
My love for whales was satisfied by this huuuuuuge (i think real to life whale!) statue type thing hanging from the Aquariums ceiling!
Possibly the worlds ugliest fish and Al just chilling.

I completely fell in love with the Sea Lions, especially the fact they swim with their eyes shut, I thought that was so cute.
Somehow, we got distracted by the souvenir shop half way round and this was the outcome.
After messing around for a bit, we decided to go see the sharks/stingrays.
Don't particularly fancy messing with them anytime soon.
Next stop: PENGUINS.
After a crazy expensive lunch ($7 for a drink and a plain bagel - if you go bring your own food!)
After lunch, we decided to go see a sting ray feeding, which looks hilarious in the pictures, it looks like they're smiling!
It was after this we snooped around for a little longer, then decided to go grab some dinner. The lucky thing about where I live in that theres a huge promenade of restaurants downtown. We decided after looking at the options, that Outback Steakhouse was our best choice and lets just say, the food was crazy delicious!
